I recently painted 100 extinct birds as part of a project that was called 100 Birds You Will Never See Again. The main purpose was to bring awareness to extinct birds as well as honor each one. These birds are truly lost gems. The reality is that you, your children, and future generations will never get to meet these lost birds.

A Giant Bird Dromornis... a huge Australian bird that became extinct almost 100, 000 years ago.  This was right about the time humans started appearing the region. .
