The Oahu Thrush ~~ No 61 of 100 series- ~ signed watercolor print

I recently painted 100 extinct birds as part of a project that was called 100 Birds You Will Never See Again. The main purpose was to bring awareness to extinct birds as well as honor each one. These birds are truly lost gems. The reality is that you, your children, and future generations will never get to meet these lost birds.

The Oahu Thrush


A dapper Oahu Thrush in a hat. Oahu may have been mainly a fruit eater like many of the other Hawaiian thrushes, little is known due to it's quick extinction.

Now gone. .... Extinct 1850.
