I recently painted 100 extinct birds as part of a project that was called 100 Birds You Will Never See Again. The main purpose was to bring awareness to extinct birds as well as honor each one. These birds are truly lost gems. The reality is that you, your children, and future generations will never get to meet these lost birds.

100/100 The bad ass Giant Cuban Owl. The Wild One These owls were the largest owls in the world. The estimated height is a little under 4 feet.

Now Gone.... extinct atleast 8,000 years ago.
