A Dapper Malayan Tapir in his Hat. I think he is Tommy Ha-Ha Tapir..
Tapir populations have been on a steady decline. They have no natural predators... the biggest threat is man.
This Original painting is titled "Tommy Ha-Ha Tapir" and is part of my Disappearing Animals series. I wanted to bring awareness to so many creatures that are almost gone.
~Original Watercolor Painting on 140lb Cold Press Watercolor Paper.
The painting is 5" x 7" and is singed by me (the artist).
