No 43 Golden-Rumped Sengi
The Golden-Rumped sengi are classified in a group of animals called elephant-shrews. They are an endangered species from Kenya. Recent studies indicate that they are not closely related to shrews at all, but are in fact distantly related to elephants.
This Original painting is titled "That's Mr. Golden-Rumped Sengi..to you" and is part of my Disappearing Animals series. I wanted to bring awareness to so many creatures that are almost gone.
